Dr. Fright’s Halloween Nights – Accessibility & Disability Policy

Dr. Fright’s Halloween Nights is committed to being as inclusive as possible and to ensuring all guests have a safe and enjoyable experience at our event. Due to the unique nature of our attraction, there are some important limitations and provisions that guests should be aware of before attending.

Accessibility in the Mazes

  • Unfortunately, our horror mazes are not wheelchair accessible. This is due to the narrow corridors, uneven ground, tight turns, and undulating terrain that form an integral part of the experience.

  • For safety reasons, mobility scooters, pushchairs, or similar wheeled devices are also not permitted inside the mazes.

‘No Scare’ Tickets

  • Guests who are unable to experience the mazes are welcome to attend the event by purchasing a ‘No Scare’ Ticket, which grants access to the after-maze arena and food and drink areas.

  • The arena offers seating, refreshments, merchandise, and a wheelchair-accessible toilet.

Parking & Event Access

  • Designated disabled parking spaces are available in the main event car park on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • For safety reasons, no vehicles are permitted beyond the designated car park. All guests, including those with a Blue Badge, will need to access the event arena on foot from the car park.

  • The route from the car park to the main arena is on level, gravel-covered ground and is suitable for wheelchair users.

Facilities

  • A wheelchair-accessible toilet is available within the after-maze arena area.

  • Event staff will be on hand to provide reasonable assistance within the arena if required.

Carer / Companion Policy

  • Guests who require a carer or personal assistant to attend the event may request a complimentary carer ticket. Proof of eligibility will be required (e.g. DLA/PIP letter, Access Card, or equivalent documentation).

Assistance Animals

  • For the safety and welfare of both animals and guests, assistance dogs are not permitted inside the horror mazes. However, they are welcome in the after-maze arena and food area.

Strobe Lighting & Effects

  • Please note that the event makes extensive use of strobe lighting, smoke effects, loud sound, and sudden scares. These may not be suitable for guests with certain medical conditions, such as epilepsy, heart conditions, or sensory sensitivities.
